Rescue Me: Water’s Message to the Community:
ACWA Grant Award July 2009-June 2010
FoMS will be conducting a year long educational campaign directed toward the residents and commercial land owners of Wasilla Lake under the Alaska Clean Water Action (ACWA) program.
FoMS hosted the kick off to this project, the first Wasilla Lake Appreciation Day, on August 22, 2009. Water stewardship information, food, and fun were provided at this fun-filled event.

Stay tuned for more information about this project as we continue our outreach to the residents of Wasilla Lake and as we plan for a shoreline restoration project at Wasilla Lake Park with the WSWCD on June 3rd, 2010.
